Rebecca is a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian (Texas & Florida ) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (North Carolina) with an extensive background in gerontology nutrition and foodservice operations. She has held national nutrition roles, written an ebook on healthy eating for older adults and more recently obtained a role as content contributor for Consumer Health Digest's website. She has obtained the certificate in adult weight management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Rebecca was recognized in the Huffington Post and also chosen as Food Service Director Magazine’s pick for “Under 30” for her work in long term care. In her personal life, Rebecca continues to compete competitively in tennis as a former division one athlete at the University of Central Arkansas. She also dedicates her time for the Maryland Food Bank and Meals on Wheels as she believes strongly in giving back to her community.
